About

As a fashion illustrator I am drawn to strong colours, silhouettes and textures and this informs my work in both digital and traditional media. I love fashion in all forms and after studying Textile Design and then Fashion Design in the UK I worked in the industry as a designer for several years before moving into Fashion & Textiles education.

Digital 2020

When working in traditional media I enjoy experimenting with a range of materials including acrylic paints, ink, pen and pencil. I use offbeat colour and bold mark-making to create expressive pieces focusing mainly on fashion figures, clothing and details with some portraiture.  Digital work can also develop in different ways in response to the subject working with Adobe packages and Procreate to create images and short animations. My practice continues to develop as I spend more time working out what my creative voice is and honing and combining techniques.
